Center for Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity to Host Dialogue on Prison, Torture, and the State

The Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity (CSCRE) continues its fall 2007 discussion series, "The Prison Machine: Race, Torture, and the State." The series explores the incarceration of people of color with a focus on intersections of race, torture, and the state.

The next event in the series will take place on November 7, 2007, at 7:00 p.m. CSCRE will have a community dialogue in Clark Lounge, Campus Center. Please come and participate in our discussion.

The panelists: Raul Salinas, Leslie Jones, Fred Wilcox, Jaason Corwin, and others.

Moderator: Alan Eladio Gomez, assistant professor of Latino/a studies.
