Please join us Thursday, November 15th at Towers Dining Hall for lunch and a celebration of America Recycles Day.

The Ithaca College Environmental Society(ICES) and the Resource and Environmental Management Program(REMP) will be present. The clubs will have tips to help people to recycle. The special menu for lunch at the Fresh Food Market will include: Country Vegetable Stew with Cous Cous and Old Fashioned Beef Stew over Fresh Baked Biscuits, and Cold Tortellini Salad.

America Recycles Day(ARD) is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to encouraging Americans to recycle and buy recycled products.

America Recycles is a program of the National Recycling Coalition (NRC), a 501(c)(3) membership organization of recycling professionals, businesses large and small and advocates from every region of the country. The Coalition works to raise awareness by educating people about the benefits of recycling and supporting communities. The purpose of America Recycles Day is to continue to promote the social, environmental and economic benefits of recycling while encouraging more people to join in the movement to create a better environment. For more information about NRC, please visit www.nrc-recycle.org.
