Stephanie Nyombayire, a representative from the Genocide Intervention Network, will be speaking about her recent trip to Darfurian refugee camps in Chad, this Friday at 1:00 p.m. in Textor 101.
Nyombayire is Rwandan, and lost dozens of family members during the genocide in that country in 1994. She is currently a student at Swarthmore College. Her trip to Darfur was chronicled in the 2006 MTV documentary, Translating Genocide.
