If you are home for the holidays, you might want to spend some time talking to your parents about taking advantage of a summer study abroad opportunity. Several IC faculty are planning on taking groups of students abroad this summer.
These trips are a unique opportunity to join IC professors in the field and to have an amazing trip abroad while earning academic credit. Most trips will be between two and three weeks in length.
Trips are slated to go to the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, London, Ghana, Italy, Turkey, and China to study a diverse range of topics -- from business to Italian language, from ecotourism to health care, to African drum and dance, and more.
More detailed descriptions of upcoming programs can be found at:

Applications are due February 25, 2008, and can be found on the OIP website (www.ithaca.edu/oip). Most professors will, however, want to know beforehand if you are interested, so be sure to let them know.
