Because of the severe weather predicted for the Ithaca area over the next several days, we want to remind the Ithaca College community of our policies and procedures in the event of an emergency closing or delayed opening.
Any announcement of an official change in the College's operating status will be made via the Emergency Notification System (ENS), an Intercom Alert, and the Emergency Closing Hotline at (607) 274-1495. Local radio and television stations will also be notified and asked to broadcast the information.

As noted in the policy manual, weather conditions, no matter how extreme, normally will not close the College when classes are in session.
