As a result of the campus telephone service interruption that will take place from approximately 8:00–11:00 p.m. this Friday, January 4, a temporary number must be used to contact the Office of Public Safety in the event of an emergency. The Blue Light telephone system will also be down during this time. The Office of Public Safety can be contacted at 607-256-9187 via cell phone or other non-campus phone. This telephone number is only to be used during the three-hour service interruption.
Public Safety officers will be patrolling the campus during the outage. Once the phone system is back in service, the Office of Public Safety may be reached by calling 9-1-1 from any campus phone, by using a Blue Light phone, or by dialing 607-274-3333.
