MLK Day Service Opportunities -- Lots of Help Needed!

We have several very exciting service opportunities available on Monday, January 21, in conjunction with the campus celebration of Martin Luther King Day. See below for a description of each of the activities and please register for the opportunity to participate by visiting the CSLI website:

MLK Day 2008 Registration

You will have the opportunity to participate in one of the following projects:

Level Green: indoor office painting and the development of a "creativity" room

Ithaca Neighborhood Housing Services (INHS): indoor wall demolition (removing plaster and lathe)

Longview: maintenance assistance in the morning and an afternoon social activity with the residents

Significant Elements: moving and organizing store inventory

AFCU VITA program: assisting with community-wide distribution of tax program information

Ithaca Youth Bureau: assembling a tile mural to hang in the IYB's main atrium

Love Knows No Bounds: assisting with organizing inventory to be sent to New Orleans

GIAC/Community MLK celebration: assisting with the day's activities

Family Reading Partnership: labeling children's books and organizing inventory
