The Women's Studies Program's annual in-house conference, WomenSpeak, will take place on Tuesday, February 26, from 10:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in Klingenstein Lounge of the Campus Center.
Codirectors Katie Marks and Jaime Warburton invite all women who are, or have been, part of the Ithaca College community to consider offering a 15- to 30-minute presentation. The theme of this year's conference is "Telling the Truth." Lectures, papers, open-forum discussion topics, readings of original poetry, fiction or personal essays, music and dance performances, photography, or films -- all are welcome as individual offerings or as collaborations.
Faculty, students, staff, administrators, alumnae: please e-mail [mailto:kmarks@ithaca.edu] or [mailto:jwarburton@ithaca.edu] for more information. If you wish to participate, e-mail us a brief description of the work you'd like to contribute and times you are available to present by Monday, January 28.
Please share this information and urge friends and students to participate and attend. Professors are especially encouraged to work WomenSpeak into their schedules and bring whole classes. Thank you.
