IMPACT: National Student Conference on Service, Advocacy, and Social Action

01/31/08

Contributed by Terry Martinez

The IMPACT conference is historically the largest in the country of campus community members involved in service, activism, politics, advocacy, and other socially responsible work across philosophical and ideological lines. This event builds on the legacy set forth by the COOL conference and the Idealist Campus Conference, spanning an incredible 23-year history.

You won't want to miss this inspiring three-day conference, which will include a series of thought-provoking forums, plenary sessions, and student-led workshops as well as an Opportunities Fair, Oxfam America Hunger Banquet, powerful opening ceremony -- and even a few new surprises!

Share the great work your organization is doing by proposing a workshop -- the online proposal system can be found on the conference website. This conference is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other campuses, learn from their best practices, and share our campus' experiences in working toward social change. Learn from campus and nonprofit leaders on many topics.
