Pulitzer Prize Winner is This Semester's First Distinguished Visiting Writer

The Department of Writing and the School of Humanities and Sciences are pleased to present Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Olen Butler as the first of the three authors for this semester's Distinguished Visiting Writers Series. He will read from his work at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 6. The reading is free and open to the public.

Robert Olen Butler, recipient of the Pulitzer Prize in 1993 for A Good Scent from a Strange Mountain, is the author of ten novels and four collections of short fiction. His stories have appeared in the New Yorker, Esquire, the Paris Review, and elsewhere. He will read on Wednesday, February 6, in Klingenstein Lounge, Egbert Hall.
