Thursdays at the Handwerker presents evening of music by John Cage, curated by School of Music student Thomas Murphy '10, at 6:30 p.m. on February 7. John Cage is best known for his role in expanding the boundaries of what is considered music. Murphy's program presents two of his works for spoken word, two important electronic works, and the most controversial music work of the 20th century, 4'33". Audience participation is required.
