Nicole LaReau '07 and Sally Lok '07 were two of 50 students chosen nationwide for American Advertising Federation's Most Promising Minority Students (MPMS) program.
As recipients, LaReau and Lok attended a three-day event in New York City earlier this month that provided them with the opportunity to meet recruiters from major ad agencies, media companies, and client organizations and to participate in professional development workshops.
This multicultural recruiting program not only focuses on exceptional student talent, but also companies that are dedicated to a diverse workforce.
This year's class of students represents over 35 colleges and universities from across the United States.
The students were nominated by associate professor Scott Hamula.
