The Counseling Center's Suicide Awareness and Prevention program invites the College community to its March program -- Wednesday, March 26, at 7:00 p.m. in Park Auditorium -- featuring Heidi Bryan, founder and director of Feeling Blue Suicide Prevention Council (www.feelingblue.org).
Heidi has spoken openly about her brother's suicide and her own suicide attempt, at regional and national conferences on suicide prevention. Her talk, "I Can't Believe I'm Still Here: A Celebration of Life," is sure to be inspiring! Faculty and staff are encouraged to motivate students to attend this event.
Heidi's visit is cosponsored by the Counseling Center and Suicide Prevention and Crisis Service of Ithaca.
