During the weekend of March 7-9, the Ithaca College Residence Hall Association sent a delegation of five students and two advisors to SUNY-Geneseo for the North East Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls (NEACURH) “Mini No-Frills” regional conference.

RHA members Laura Horowitz, Juan Duchimaza, Clare Goldrick, and Gamy Wong also presented a program, entitled “Leadership and Teambuilding Games,” which focused on facilitating activities which develop small group dynamics and leadership skills.

RHA and its students also received several awards presented at the conference. Ithaca College was awarded the Regional Board of Directors award for Outstanding Service to the Region in recognition for its efforts in hosting the 2007 regional conference in November and in promoting issues of sustainability among NEACURH member schools. Cole Lechleiter was the Regional Board of Directors choice for Outstanding Student of the Year. RHA president Bri Lewis and National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) president Sara Cleary received 2 year service pins for their continued dedication to the region, and Bri Lewis was also inducted into the region’s alumni honor society.

Congratulations to all award winners and to the conference delegation for their outstanding efforts at this year’s conference!
