The Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival opens with a free multimedia event March 31, entitled "West Side Story Counterpoint," featuring music by Leonard Bernstein.
Pianists Jairo Geronymo and Deborah Martin are featured, along with soprano Deborah Lifton and baritone Brad Hougham. All are faculty members in the School of Music. Ann Michel and Phil Wilde have created the multimedia projections.
There will be two performances, the first at 7:00 p.m. and the second at 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 31, in the Hockett Family Recital Hall in the James J. Whalen Center for Music.
