Two student DJs will be awake and on the air for 50 hours this weekend.

VIC Internet Radio is conducting its 22nd annual 50-hour marathon from Friday, April 4, at 4:00 p.m. through Sunday, April 6, at 6:00 p.m. DJs Sarah and Dougystyle (Sarah Paolantonio '10 and Doug Evasick '08) will stay awake and on the air for 50 hours to raise money for the Tompkins County SPCA.

The Marathon will be webcast at www.vicradio.org and www.wicb.org, broadcast on WICB-FM (91.7 FM), and carried on ICTV (Channel 16 on Time Warner Cable). Tune in to follow their progress. Things get very interesting around hour 30!

Events during the marathon include live remote broadcasts from the opening day at the Ithaca Farmer's Market, the SPCA shelter, and a battle of the bands at the Haunt on Saturday evening.

The Tompkins County SPCA is a no-kill/open-admission companion animal shelter. You can learn more about their services at www.spcaonline.com.

Information on supporting the marathon can be found at www.vicradio.org.

Organizations the station has supported in past years include the Ithaca Free Clinic, the Advocacy Center, and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program.
