Caitlin McFadden '10 was selected to participate in the Collegiate Sports Medicine Foundation's third annual Athletic Training Student Leadership Workshop in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, May 14-17, 2008.
This workshop is by invitation, of which two students from each National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) district have been selected, and provided a scholarship to attend that covers air fare, food, and hotel expenses.
The meeting will focus on leadership qualities past, present, and future of the athletic training professionals, graduate school preparation, job opportunities, research, and organizational skills for a leader in the health care field.
Faculty will consist of present and past NATA leaders in an open format to provide students with an opportunity to connect with individuals who have shaped the profession of athletic training.
