The Vance L. Stickell Memorial Student Internship Program was established in 1989 in honor of Vance L. Stickell, former executive vice president of marketing for the Los Angeles Times and a member of the Advertising Hall of Fame.
Patane, an integrated marketing communications major, will intern at Wal-Mart in their corporate communications department in Bentonville, Arkansas.
She was nominated by associate professor Scott Hamula.
