The United Way of Tompkins County and the IC Center for Student Leadership and Involvement (CSLI) have combined to create a pilot philanthropy program on IC's campus. The Stone Soup Philanthropy Corps will be a student-run board responsible for allocating funds to community businesses and organizations throughout the Ithaca area.

Members of the executive board will learn the skills necessary to effectively manage a philanthropic organization, and play an integral role in strengthening service on the IC campus and in the community.

The executive board will be chosen through an application and interview process. All experienced, qualified, and interested students may apply.

If you are interested in volunteer work, philanthropy, working with student leaders from all schools and divisions of Ithaca College, working with CSLI and the United Way, or just gaining experience in a leadership role, come to the informational meeting on Tuesday, April 22, in the Six Mile Creek Meeting Room in Campus Center, at 12 noon, next to the Rec Room.
