IC students are about to celebrate the close of another fantastic year of resident dining events with a "Yellowstone Picnic in the Park" promotion that will be held on Thursday, April 24, during dinner at the Terrace Dining Hall.
This promotion wraps up a yearly series called the Great American Road Trip. While students enjoy picnic-style foods, they will also have the opportunity to win a special commemorative poster.
The highlight of the promotion will be a "Thrive to Survive" wilderness challenge, where students can test their knowledge of the great outdoors for a chance to win some great prizes.
"The Picnic in the Park promotion will transport students to Yellowstone National Park, and we think it's great way to bring the school year to a close," said Peter Ward, marketing intern. "Outdoor games and picnic-style foods will combine to create a rustic feeling that students are sure to enjoy.
"This is the final event of our Great American Road Trip series, and we hope our students enjoyed the unique flavors featured at the various destinations from across the United States," Peter said.
