EARTHWEEK 2008: Be Sustainable, or Die

Don't forget to attend our great lineup of EarthWeek 2008 events, beginning today (Monday)!

Executive Director of Greenpeace International

Bill Richardson has been involved with Greenpeace since 1988, when he began working as a door-to-door canvas volunteer. Richardson discuss global climate change and Greenpeace, with a faculty panel of Susan Allen-Gil (associate professor of biology and coordinator of the environmental studies program), Warren Schlesinger (associate professor of business) and Marian Brown (special assistant to the provost).

Sustainable Menstruation and the Red Tent Event
Clark Lounge, 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Stop by for ten minutes or two hours during an evening of discussion about healthy bodies, facts about the environmental and personal-health costs of commercial menstrual products, lots of sustainable alternatives (free giveaways!), healthy food, and more! Hosted by IC Feminists.
