On Wednesday, April 30, renowned Indian novelist Kiran Nagarkar will visit Ithaca College to read from his work.
Kiran Nagarkar is a bilingual writer from India whose first book, written in Marathi, is credited by many to have heralded the age of modernist writing in that language. His books in English are wide ranging and varied; all of them exhibit a wild and humorous irreverence for social, political, and religious hierarchies.
There will be a small reception in CNS 115 at 6:00 p.m. and the reading/discussion will continue from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. All are welcome.
(Please note the changed venue: it will now take place in CNS 115.)
