When making plans for the end of this academic year, we ask you to adhere to the closing schedule.
Your timely departure from campus is imperative to preparing the residence halls for Commencement housing, summer guests, and summer operations projects geared to enhancing the condition of Ithaca College's residential spaces. For these reasons, we can not grant any exceptions to the deadlines outlined below.
Please be aware that all residence halls and the Garden Apartments close at 3:00 p.m. on May 10 for non-graduating students. Only students with proof of a final on Monday, May 12, will be permitted to remain in the residence halls and Garden Apartments past the official closing time.
So that we may verify your need to remain on campus past 3:00 p.m. on May 10, residents with a final on May 12 must e-mail [mailto:breakhousing@ithaca.edu] from their Ithaca College e-mail account with the following information:
* First and last name
* Student ID number
* Residence hall name and room number
* Name of class
* Name of professor
* Time of final
Students who have finals on Monday, May 12, are expected to check out by noon on Tuesday, May 13.
Residence halls and Garden Apartments close for graduating seniors on May 19 at noon.
Circle Apartment residents must vacate their apartments by July 8 at 5:00 p.m., in accordance with their housing agreement.
Students who have not received written approval to remain in their residence hall during Senior Week because of on-campus employment and/or participation in Commencement-related activities are subject to immediate removal from the building, judicial action, and a $100-per-day "unauthorized presence fee."
