On behalf of the Office of Enrollment Planning and the Gannett Library, please join us in a farewell reception honoring Chris and Becky Knauer, who will be leaving the college next month to begin anew in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Becky Knauer worked as an administrative assistant in Computer Services, in the H&S Writing Department, and in the H&S Deans Office between 1973 and 2003. From 2003 to the present, she has worked in the Gannett Library in all areas of Access Services, including circulation, reserves, traces, and interlibrary loan.
Chris Knauer, BA ’76 and MS ’91, served initially as a work-study student in Ithaca's office of the registrar. Chris graduated from Ithaca in 1976 with a baccalaureate degree in philosophy and religious studies at which time he accepted an offer for fulltime employment in Ithaca's Office of the Registrar. After fourteen years he left Ithaca for leadership positions at Radford University in Virginia and subsequently as registrar at Lemoyne College in Syracuse, NY. Chris returned to Ithaca as the College’s registrar in 2001. Chris will begin his new position as university registrar at the University of North Carolina Charlotte in August.
Chris and Becky’s reception will be held in The Park Center for Business second floor atrium, on Thursday, July 10, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
