ITS is pleased to announce that a new e-mail system will be installed in a few weeks. In order to continue to provide stable and reliable email service to the campus community, this change is necessary.
Anyone who uses an e-mail client such as Thunderbird or Mac Mail will need to make some simple changes in their e-mail program in order to be able to send e-mail messages using the new system (detailed instructions will be published soon).
In addition, the new system will include a different Webmail interface. The Webmail interface has a new look and feel but contains comparable features as the current interface.
ITS realizes that e-mail system downtime and changes can be inconvenient, but are occasionally necessary to ensure that our system continues to function reliably and keeps pace with current technology.
