Due to critical system problems, the Ithaca College e-mail system will be unavailable periodically this weekend. We anticipate a one-hour downtime sometime after business hours on Friday, August 15, and a four-hour downtime at some point later in the weekend.
The e-mail system has been experiencing significant problems since the upgrade last weekend. ITS and the vendor have determined that the problems are due to a flaw in the e-mail server hardware and the vendor is providing us with replacement hardware. Both ITS and the vendor are working in "emergency response" mode to resolve the problems as soon as possible.
System notices and updates will be available on the webmail login page and on the Computing home page.
