Christopher Neville, a 2000 graduate of the Ithaca College physical therapy program, was admitted to this new program in fall 2004. Working closely with faculty from the Ithaca College Movement Analysis Laboratory, Chris successfully defended his thesis on August 6, 2008.
His work in the laboratory contributed to the award of a grant from the National Institutes of Health, five published papers, and his dissertation. He has currently taken a job at SUNY Upstate Medical University as a faculty member in the school's physical therapy program.
Consistent with the mission of Ithaca College, this new joint program with the U of R focuses on excellence in teaching and scholarship, and developing faculty for the numerous upstate New York physical therapy programs.
This program is currently the only program admitting students that is listed in upstate New York on the American Physical Therapy Association's website, designed for licensed physical therapists.
