Laurie A. Linn, Local Marketer, to Lecture on Her Career

Laurie A. Linn, president of Ithaca-area design firm Communiqué, will be guest speaker on Tuesday, September 9, at 7:30 p.m. in Park Auditorium. The event is sponsored by IABC/IC and is open to the public.

Linn's presentation will center around her career and how to achieve success in the industry, as well as the importance of corporate citizenship and giving back to both the profession and the community. She has over 20 years' experience in marketing and management consulting with companies such as Citibank, Chase, and Bank One as well as smaller institutions around the globe. Her professional specialties are in the financial, retail, manufacturing, and academia, service, high-tech, and nonprofit sectors.

Linn has served as chair of the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce and president of the Tompkins County Community College Foundation board. She was recently named Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional and Executive Women (NAPEW).
