Are you interested in interacting with first-year students outside of the classroom? Would you like to be part of fostering a culture of interaction between students and faculty within the first-year residence halls?
If the answer to this question is yes, please consider serving as a faculty fellow for the First-Year Residence Hall Program.
The First-Year Residence Hall Program started in 1995 as a program to bring first-year students together and provide an atmosphere where they would easily transition to college and build strong relationships with their peers. The program has been growing and expanding ever since. It is housed in Rowland, Boothroyd, and Tallcott halls in the Quads area.
We are hoping to create a more academic atmosphere in the area by including faculty fellows. We are specifically looking for one faculty member to:
Faculty fellows must be full-time faculty members, and are eligible to receive a stipend or educational resource grant of $1,100 a year for their work with the community.
