Beginning Monday, September 8, there will be a monthly "Supper Seminar on Moral Intelligence" from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.
We will be sharing a meal together in the Phillips Room at Muller Chapel, while engaging in discussion about topics related to moral intelligence or "doing the right thing." We will explore ways that we make ethical decisions and how we choose the directions we take in life.
A topic each month will be chosen to guide the focus of our discussions. Some of these are: ecological justice; economic justice; racism, gender, age discrimination, and oppression; war, violence, and peace; immigration; consumerism; reconciliation and forgiveness; and unity.
We'll share Bible verses, ideas, faith journeys, and generate new definitions of moral intelligence as these emerge from the group.
Please let me know that you will be joining us by sending an RSVP to Meredith at [mailto:mellis@ithaca.edu].
