Refreshments will be served prior to the lecture from 3:45 to 4:00 p.m. in the first-floor lobby. Please bring your own reusable mug for beverages. Reduce, reuse, recycle!

Melanie received a Ph.D. from the University of Florida and works as a postdoctoral fellow at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

The Department of Biology offers a seminar series each semester representing a broad range of topics in biology. These seminars are open to the entire community. Refreshments are offered prior to the seminar and students are invited to meet with the speaker in a small group following the talk to answer questions related to the topic presented, or to answer questions regarding possible careers in biology.
