WICB, Ithaca College's student-run FM station, has been recognized at statewide competitions in both the collegiate and small-market levels.

The station earned a "special mention" at the New York State Associated Press Broadcasters Association (NYSAPBA) college competition for Eric Keto's piece on tree rings, which he produced for ICB Sunday.

At the small-market competition of the NYSAPBA, WICB won first place in the "best interview" category for Cal Borchers and Eric Keto's package on the Coddington Road widening project, which also aired on ICB Sunday.

At the New York State Broadcasters Association competition, WICB won for "best sportscast" while again completing in the small-market division. The entry, "History of the Cortaca Jug," was written and produced by Robert Schroeder for our Cortaca Jug pregame show.
