Are you majoring or interested in business and/or accounting? Do you want a great-paying internship or job?
IC NABA is having its first general body meeting of the year. It is taking place on September 16 in room 206 of the Park Center for Business and Sustainable Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. There will be door prize and food!
Before we continue, let us tell you a little about IC NABA.
The Ithaca College National Association of Black Accountants (IC NABA) is a preprofessional organization on campus, especially students who are majoring in the field of business or students who are interested in business. (Please do not let the name fool you; we are open to everyone!)
We host several different professional development workshops with topics such as: mock interviews and tips, resume development, the job market, business etiquette, and many more. We also bring in many keynote speakers such as business professionals from the local area and from Fortune 500 companies such as Ernst and Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Merrill Lynch.
IC NABA also is planning a trip to NYC for fall break this year, to visit alumni and many of the major firms and corporations. This is a great networking opportunity which is exclusively for IC NABA members!
The Eastern Regional Conference is another great networking opportunity. At this conference a huge number of IC NABA members secure internships as well as receive positive feedback about their resume and communication skills. The average IC NABA internship ranges from $20 to $25 an hour.
If you want to be the best, join the best -- join IC NABA!
If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact IC NABA at [mailto:icnaba@gmail.com]. Thank you for you time and we look forward to seeing you soon.
Sincerely,
The Ithaca College National Association of Black Accountants
