Volunteer this weekend at the Apple Harvest Festival on the Commons!
Volunteers are needed for the following time slots:
Helpers are needed to staff the info/ticket sales booths and composting stations.
Information booth volunteers will provide schedules and downtown information to attendees and sell T-shirts and tickets for the Ferris wheel and children's activities.
Compost educators will be placed at stations around the Commons to educate attendees about what items can be composted and thrown away. These staffers will share information and move/replace recycling bins once they are full. Volunteers will not be asked to empty the bins -- so this is not a dirty job! The goal is to reduce festival waste as much as possible.
Volunteers that work three or more hours will have the option to choose between tickets for February's Chili Cook-Off event or a T-shirt from last year's Apple Harvest Festival. Those who work six or more hours will receive a free meal ticket as well.
