Next Generation Vending and Food Services, Inc. – Ithaca College’s vending supplier – has created a new program. Please join us for healthy snack samples on Tuesday, September 30th in the North Foyer from 10:00a.m. - 3:00p.m.
Vitalities identifies healthy choices for snacks and beverages available in the vending machines across campus. Each Healthy Snack Choices machine is marked with Vitalities banner as well as static sticker detailing and color coding four groups – lower fat, lower sugar, lower carbohydrates, and higher energy.
Foods that pertain to one of the categories are identifiable by color coded stickers located next to the product’s price.* Ithaca College currently features Vitalities Healthy Choices machines in the following areas:
• Phillips Hall - Campus Center
• Friends Hall
• Park Hall
• East and West Tower
• Dillingham Center
• Gannett Center – Library
Next Generation will continue their expansion throughout campus, including Hill Center.
*foods marked with a Vitalities sticker have been evaluated and approved by a Registered Dietician associated with Next Generation Vending and Food Services, Inc.
