The winners of the 11th annual Perialas Prize in Persuasion will attempt to influence your vote for president of the United States on Tuesday, October 28, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Clark Lounge.
All are welcome to join us as we recognize this year's student winners: Joe Gage, speaking for Senator Barack Obama, and Shanan Glandz, speaking for Senator John McCain. The speeches will be followed by rational discussion and the consumption of special pastries.
The annual Perialas Prize is sponsored by the Department of Speech Communication and the Perialas Prize Endowment for Excellence in Oratory.
