On Saturday, November 1, the Native American studies program is organizing a field trip to the Cayuga homeland and the Cayuga SHARE Farm.
One van will leave the Textor circle at 10:30 a.m.; space is limited so reserve a spot early. Other cars can meet us and follow.
Join us for a variety of activities at the Cayuga SHARE Farm with caretaker Dan Hill, of the Cayuga Heron Clan. We'll be picking apples, cleaning up the orchard, fencing the trees for winter, and taking a guided hike into Great Gully [pictured at right] to pick up trash around 2:00 p.m.
All events are free and open to the public.
For more information or directions to the Cayuga SHARE Farm, contact Brooke Hansen at 274-1735 or [mailto:kbhansen@ithaca.edu].
