Occupations are the things we do every day that bring meaning to our lives. Eating, driving, reading, talking, and walking are examples of occupations. Our participation in daily activities, or "occupations", and the importance we place on them, defines us.
THE NEW MINOR IN OCCUPATIONAL SCIENCE (18 credits) offers students the opportunity to understand the influence of human occupation on development, health and wellness for the individual and for society. This minor course of study will also enhance your understanding of how elements of personal capabilities, in conjunction with the physical and socio-cultural environment, affect human occupation.
ALL STUDENTS, with the exception of Occupational Therapy Majors, are eligible.
