As the Empire 8 women's soccer regular-season champions, Ithaca has earned the top seed for this weekend's Empire 8 championship tournament, which will be held at Carp Wood Field.
Ithaca will face fourth-seeded Stevens Institute of Technology Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in one semifinal, with second-seeded Nazareth and third-seeded Rochester Institute of Technology playing at 1:30 p.m. in the other.
The semifinal winners will meet in Sunday's final with the league's automatic bid to the NCAA playoffs at stake. The game will be played at 1:00 p.m. unless Ithaca also hosts the men's soccer conference final, which would move the women's final to 11:00 a.m.
