All members of the IC campus are invited to attend a special learning event during the Thanksgiving break. On Monday, November 24, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., our campus will host a drive-in conference titled "Show Me the Green! Sustainability in Student Affairs."
This drive-in conference is being hosted by the College Student Personnel Association of New York State (CSPA-NYS) with support from Ithaca College and Sodexo.
The conference keynote address, focusing on your role as a change agent for sustainability and social justice, will be delivered by Jeanne Steffes of Syracuse University.
Breakout sessions will explore what sustainability means and where it came from, and will offer opportunities for information sharing between intermediate and advanced sustainability practitioners. Panel discussions will examine sustainability in dining services and residential life, as well as student-initiated sustainability activities.
