CRITICAL THINKING AND MASS COMMUNICATION

An entertaining course relevant to many disciplines, emphasizing the application of critical thinking skills, and offering practical techniques for evaluating information and detecting propaganda. Especially useful to media consumers who rely on print, broadcast, and online sources of information. Open to all IC students. (3 credits, LA)
NOTE TO TV-R MAJORS:
Starting in the fall, this course will satisfy the TV-R department's research requirement for most concentrations.
