Want to make a difference this spring break? Interested in volunteering around the country?
Apply for Alternative Spring Break 2009!
Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a volunteer opportunity unlike any other. Ithaca College students, staff, and faculty will travel around the country during their spring break in March to demonstrate their commitment to service.
The ASB program has expanded dramatically in the last four years. Because the experience is so rewarding, people keep coming back with a brand new group of volunteers joining the returners every year!
"Volunteering in diverse communities has been very eye-opening," said Jenn Brink, who has traveled to Earthaven Ecovillage and Kentucky on past ASB trips. "Being exposed to new perspectives and lifestyles has allowed me to grow as an individual. I’ve also had the opportunity to meet remarkable people from IC and at the sites."
