The Sustainability Café will take a closer look at "Renewable Energy Systems: Global Context, Local Actions." This Café will be held on Monday, November 10, at 4:00 p.m. in Center for Natural Sciences room 115, in conjunction with the Environmental Seminar.
Francis Vanek from Cornell University’s Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering will be the presenter. Vanek, with degrees in mechanical engineering and transportation systems engineering, has taught at Heriot-Watt University in Scotland in the Center for Logistics Research. Vanek currently lectures at Cornell on sustainable transportation energy options. Vanek co-authored “Energy Systems Engineering: Evaluation and Implementation.”
