On October 17 the campus community was notified that a suggestion e-mail box was established ([mailto:suggestions@ithaca.edu]) as a place where you can share with us your ideas on how the College can generate additional revenue or save on operating expenses.
Since the creation of the suggestion e-mail box the College has received over 120 suggestions from more than 50 faculty, staff, or students. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of those that have submitted suggestions thus far.
Going forward I wanted to share with everyone the procedures that have been put in place for monitoring the suggestions received. On a regular basis I will be forwarding the suggestions received in the mail box on to the appropriate administrator(s) for their review and response to the submitter(s).
If you are interested in submitting a suggestion to the e-mail box and do not want your name forwarded along with the suggestion for a response, please note that within the submission, and I will act as the intermediary with any correspondence.
Once again, thank you to everyone for the suggestions that have been submitted to date, and we look forward to implementing many of these suggestions in the near future.
