Our next Caregiver Support Group meeting will be a special presentation by Lisa Kendall on Friday, November 21, noon–1:15 p.m. in Klingenstein Lounge.
Lisa's talk, titled "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it GO: Holiday Stress Tips for Caregivers," will help participants identify both common and extreme causes of holiday-related stress that caregivers may face.
Lisa Kendall is a New York State licensed social worker and holds advanced certification in clinical gerontology. Lisa has worked with older adults and their family caregivers for more than 25 years in a variety of settings, including home care, adult day programs, hospitals, and nursing homes and currently serves as Caregiver Counselor and Respite Program Coordinator in the Home Care program at Family & Children’s Services of Ithaca. A light lunch will be served.
