Your resolution: "Make the World a Better Place" -- It’s not too late to sign up to participate in the community service activities on January 19, 2009, the MLK Day 09 "Day On, Not a Day Off."
Your resolution: "Learn More about Issues of Social Justice" -- It's not too late to plan to attend one of the many educational workshops scheduled for January 19, 2009. Sign up in advance to help us ensure that we have room for everyone who wants to attend.
Your resolution: "Become More Involved in the Arts" -- Mark your calendar to attend the MLK Day 09 School of Music concert at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall on Monday, January 19, 2009.

- "Challenging Racism in the Drug War" -- film and discussion presented by Tom Shevory, professor and chair, Department of Politics
- "Strategies for Addressing Diversity in the Classroom," presented by the Ithaca College Diversity Awareness Committee
- "Old Alliances Renewed: The African-American/Jewish Relationship," presented by Michael Faber, Jewish chaplain and Hillel director
- "The Moral Permissibility of Civil Disobedience," presented by Tatiana Patrone, assistant professor of philosphy and religion
- "Post-Racial America versus Post-Katrina New Orleans," presented by Paula Ioanide, assistant professor in the Center for the Study of Culture, Race, and Ethnicity
- Freedom's Call film screening presented by Jeff Bradbury, assistant professor of television and radio
- Street Fight -- Cory Booker documentary screening, presented by student leaders from the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Center for Student Leadership and Involvement
