The Offices of Accounts Payable and Travel Services would like to remind faculty and staff that Ithaca College is changing credit card providers this month. If you have active credit cards (purchasing and/or travel) currently issued by GE Corporate Payment Services, you will receive your new JPMorgan Chase cards around January 15. The old GE Corporate Payment Services’ cards will not be valid after January 30, 2009.
It is important to note that current active cardholders do not need to reapply. As with the GE Corporate Payment Services, there will be separate cards for procurement and travel. The travel card looks different than the purchasing card (See the link below for help in identifying the new cards).
Cards will be delivered to central administrative areas and disbursed from there. They will not be mailed directly to cardholders from JPMorgan Chase.
Please check new cards to be sure that your name is correct. Cardholders should contact Ann Martin in Accounts Payable (274-3808) for purchasing cards or Tami Hastings in Travel Services (274-1480) for travel cards if a card is not correct.
Cardholders will need to activate their new cards before using:
Instructions on Activating Your New Card (requires ACE/Argus login)
Please destroy ALL of your old cards once you have received the new cards. To assist you in identifying the cards, please read the following:
Identifying the New Cards to Keep and Old Cards to Destroy (.pdf)
Current cardholders should identify all vendors that have been set up to receive recurring automatic vendor payments. These vendors will need to be notified of new card numbers as they are received.
If you have specific questions/concerns, please contact Ann Martin (274-3808) for procurement card questions or Tami Hastings (274-1480) for travel card questions.
