Beginning in the fall 2009 semester, students interested in French language and culture will now have a physical as well as intellectual home on campus, Quartier français. Planned as a partial-immersion residential community modeled on the Vecinos Spanish language and culture community, Quartier français will offer a full slate of cultural programming to include a conversation group, a film series, a reading group, cooking nights, and field trips to relevant cultural events in the larger Ithaca community. Open to Francophones and Francophiles at any level regardless of major or minor.
