This is to remind the campus community that credit cards issued by GE Capital Payment Services will become inactive January 30, 2009. The new JPMorgan Chase cards were distributed to central administrative offices around January 15, 2009. As with GE Capital Payment Services, there are two separate cards for travel and procurement.

Please read the following to differentiate between the new cards to keep and the old cards to destroy:

Identifying New/Old Credit Cards (pdf)

Faculty and staff that have received their new card(s), please verify that your name is correct on the card and read the following instructions on activating your new card:

Instructions on Activating New Credit Cards (requires login with email username/password)

For faculty and staff that need to apply for a new card, please refer to the following documents:

Who Should Apply for Ithaca College Credit Cards (pdf)

How to Apply for an Ithaca College Credit Card (pdf requires login with email username/password)

All applications will go through manager approval in addition to Accounts Payable or Travel Services' approval. Managers should review cardholders and usage within their areas before approving new card applications.

Current cardholders should identify all vendors that have been set up to receive recurring automatic vendor payments. These vendors will need to be notified of new card numbers as they are received.

If you have specific questions/concerns, please contact Ann Martin (274-3808) for procurement card questions or Tami Hastings (274-1480) for travel card questions.
