I am pleased to announce the appointment of Erica Shockley as assistant director of the Office for New Student Programs. Erica has served Ithaca College in several capacities since 2003 as a residence director, then as the residence director in the first year residence hall before becoming an interim area coordinator in residential life.
Erica has served as the interim assistant director since May of last year and will assume her role on Monday, February 2. As such, she will be joining an excellent team of professionals in Student Engagement and will be responsible for enhancing our orientation program and developing on-going programs aimed at assisting new students with their transition to the college.
